MEET THE FAMILY
Hello, I'm Melonie
I've worked as a veterinary technician since 2003. I specialize in canine physical rehabilitation and emergency care. I started off in a small animal day practice, assisting doctors in doing routine procedures like
annual shots, spays, neuters and dentals. I was then transferred to the specialty referral hospital that does 24 hours emergency, oncology, neurology, dermatology, dentistry, internal medicine, rehabilitation, and
specialty surgery that covers all neuro logic and orthopedic surgeries. I started working primarily in canine rehabilitation in 2006 and found my true place and passion in this world. I completed the Canine
Rehabilitation Institution program and I'm now certified in canine rehab. I absolutely love working with dogs with special needs. Through my personal experience, I feel that there is nothing more
rewarding than helping a dog get back on track and being able to having a happy healthy normal life again.
Hello, I'm Carlos
I've worked as an emergency technician since 2008, and have been helping my wife, Melonie, with rehab for the past five years. For me, I love a good challenge, high stress levels, and the high speed environment of
the emergency floor. Working with cats and dogs in life or death situations is exciting for me. As an emergency technician, I'm required to always be ready for the worst accidents to walk through the emergency
doors. I'm also a full-time college student with the dream of one day being accepted into medical school (for humans). I've dedicated my life to medicine and spend every minute of my life helping animals and
learning how to help people.
